Association

The dor­mi­to­ry is run by the asso­cia­ti­on of the same name „Stu­den­ten­wohn­heim Geschwis­ter Scholl e.V.”.

The Asso­cia­ti­on con­sists of the organs of the Gene­ral Mee­ting, the Exe­cu­ti­ve Board and the Board of Trus­tees. The chair­man or one of his depu­ties, tog­e­ther with the mana­ging direc­tor, repres­ents the asso­cia­ti­on extern­al­ly; they form the exe­cu­ti­ve board wit­hin the mea­ning of the law. The mana­ging direc­tor, who is also respon­si­ble for the admi­nis­tra­ti­on, hand­les the day-to-day busi­ness of the asso­cia­ti­on; to this extent, he alo­ne repres­ents the asso­cia­ti­on externally.

Administration

Home Mana­ger of the Schol­lheim and Admi­nis­tra­ti­ve Mana­ger of the Scholl and Mar­chio­ni­ni dor­mi­to­ry: Alex­an­dra Filser

She is main­ly respon­si­ble for the coope­ra­ti­on with both dorm self-admi­nis­tra­ti­ons, name­ly in the selec­tion of new dorm resi­dents, the con­clu­si­on, exten­si­on and ter­mi­na­ti­on of the ren­ting con­tracts and the enfor­ce­ment of the dorm rules. She is also the con­ta­ct per­son for all dorm residents.

She sup­ports the mana­ging direc­tor and the direc­tor of the home and takes care of the many things of ever­y­day business.

The accoun­t­an­t’s duties inclu­de pre­pa­ring bud­gets, asset invest­ments, valua­tions and finan­cial state­ments for both dormitories.

Jani­tor: Franz Flieger

The wide ran­ge of jani­tor tasks inclu­des, espe­cial­ly, the con­stant strugg­le to ensu­re the func­tio­n­ing of all tech­ni­cal equip­ment, name­ly sani­ta­ry faci­li­ties, hea­ting, ven­ti­la­ti­on and electri­ci­ty sup­ply, as well as order and traf­fic safe­ty in the buil­dings and out­door facilities.

Clea­ning staff: Maja Djor­dje­vic, Nad­ja Salem Raschid, Edi­me Ahme­ti, Hei­ke Poldrack-Hagn

Without the lovely clea­ning fai­ries, one or the other hall­way would quick­ly look qui­te dif­fe­rent. As a team, they dedi­ca­te them­sel­ves to the dai­ly batt­le against dust, dirt and clutter.

Mr. Flie­ger and Ms. Fil­ser are full-time employees; apart from them, all other employees are part-time.
