The location of Schollheim is in the heart of Munich
The dormitory „Studentenwohnheim Geschwister Scholl e.V.” is situated on Steinickeweg, connecting Heßstraße to Theresienstraße, running between Luisenstraße and Augustenstraße. It is not directly located on a street but rather in a courtyard among buildings, providing a substantial degree of protection against traffic noise.

7 of 7Due to the excellent location in the heart of Maxvorstadt, all universities are easily accessible: Technical University of Munich (main campus) in 5 minutes, University of Applied Sciences Munich, University of Television and Film Munich, and University of Music and Performing Arts Munich within 10 minutes, and Ludwig Maximilian University (main building) within a 15-minute walk.
Not only are the universities easily accessible, but also the nearest subway station, „Theresienstraße”, is only 170 meters away (about a 3‑minute walk). The main train station is 1.4 km away (5 minutes by subway), and Marienplatz is 1.8 km away (11 minutes by subway). This makes it simple to reach all places in and around Munich quickly.
In close proximity to the dormitory, there are five supermarkets, two drugstores, a pharmacy, a stationery store, a bookstore, and numerous bakeries, cafes, and fast-food restaurants. Another significant advantage for quality of life is the proximity to the English Garden, the Pinakotheken art museums, Königsplatz and the Olympic Park.
